So today I had the opportunity to do hair and makeup working for stylist Sulkydoll, aka yummy mummy Donna McCulloch on location set within a tennis court. I also had the honour of working with editorial and street photographer Curtis Jehsta.

The day started with a magical mystery tour of country lanes on the outskirts of Winchester. After finding our tennis court location set within a beautiful country house estate and being shown the tennis courts by the gardener we realised we were at the wrong house! Two doors (well when I say doors, I mean large private electric gates) later and we were at the correct location!

The models were the gorgeous Lily Venus and athlete model Tracy Barlow. Both were a joy to work with. The shoot was Sports Luxe with a 'street vibe' that translated into natural makeup with hair that was styled in a messy 'I'm just off for a work out' kind of way.

Curtis was lovely and his talent was soon clear to see by the way he enabled the models to feel at ease with the camera. It was so much fun there is no way that this felt like work, and it's true what they say, if you do what you love you'll never have to work a day in your life again!

And the best bit? I've been booked by the same stylist for another gig next week! #makeupartist #hairstylist #nevergiveup!
